Hot on the heels of our post about the Industri[us] Festival of Upcycling we’d like to introduce you to the Canning Town Giant. This 30 foot giant is made out of reclaimed wood and greets festival goers as they arrive.

The friendly giant was created by the artist collective ROBOTS>>>>, a core team of 3 artists working with 10 sculptors, set builders and art directors. Their sculptures are all site specific and designed to be interactive with the environment and people who pass by.

We think the Canning Town Giant is amazingly cool and applaud the wicked use of discarded wood.
