Willem Heeffer is a product designer with 2 focuses: product design, such as the Heinz tin can lighting, and custom interior design. Willem says most of his custom clients are commercial, such as the Heinz beanz chandeliers created for Midhill Diner in Helsinki. Willem crafted 3 chandeliers for this industrial style American diner as well as bar lighting, cutlery holders and display pieces. The chandeliers use 21 Heinz Beanz cans each.

Willem Heeffer also has several other upcycle lighting designs including the star-shaped ski chandelier below. Willem tells us he will soon be releasing powder coated washing machine drum lights. We can’t wait to see them!

  54. Abfab stuff, so inspiring, landfill is poision and toxic, we need it reduced to zero asap its already seeping into water supplies. This makes us no better than the poor pig left in its stye wallowing in its own mess!? Time for us all to take control of the moneymen and demand less and consume less. We cannot afford to live in a throwaway world dont be a consumer be a carer.
